On Making

I'm excited about these! When I turned the pages of the vintage book I am recycling, and found these four friendly faces, I might of squealed. I'm not much of a home alone squealer, so: exaggeration, but I'll bet I made a delighted sound of some sort.
There are more items in this style and hue forthcoming, and already listed.
One of the difficult things about a beautiful paper score, is deciding what to do with it.
I know the interim destination is Sophie Pine, and those innocent faces must be cut into four 1.25 inch rounds, to showcase their adorability. Then, it can be tough to decide how they might be showcased best. What will make them the most desirable?
(Dear Spell Check: if it's O.K. to say [uncouthly, to my ear] Guess what I dreamed last night? Then surely, adorability, should be a recognized word.)
Some patterns, designs and themes are evenly dual purpose, while others are obviously magnet-y, or begging to be pinned.

I decided on pins for these papers. They'd be wonderful magnets, but they won me over as wearables. These would look so cute pinned onto a slim-fit v-neck sweater, a cardigan, or a not too busy jacket. There are so many great colors in the set; they'll go with just about everything.

This is what I call a shareable set. Certain themes, like animals, give off a lovey vibe to me, making me want to pass them around. I like to imagine a girl/woman out there, buying some pins from me and passing them out to her friends at school or work. Prior to getting my button maker as a gift, I used to buy pins online with Sailor Moon, Chococat, and girl warrior designs, specifically for Kiyomi.

You know? That's the first time I've untangled the process of choosing what to do with my papers from feeling, thinking and knowing into words. (With a LOT of tangential moments.) Shocking!
It feels like Friday night, although its' Thursday.
Deep.
